A Square Peg in a Round Hole
With the help of friends Joe and Caroline all of our belongings are now in the new house and we are checked out of the apartment. Since none of the rooms are done yet we have all of our stuff in the dining room and second bedroom while we work on the living room and master bedroom.
While moving in we hit a bit of a snag - our North American sized box spring did not fit up the English sized staircase... Luckily the mattress part did fit (with some shoving and colourful language) so we have that flat on the floor. Off to buy a bed!

This is exactly what happened to us. You can by two-piece interlocking boxsprings from local bed shops for very little. They are used to 'Americans' and their big beds in these stores...
We now have our two-piecer here in Canada and its still in use.
Josh.
Hey- so I have Doug's name with a question mark on it on my calendar, which means...was it your birthday?
PLUS I don't really have your email. A couple of Westport ones, and an insead alumni one. So that's why your getting your happy maybe-birthday wishes through your blog. Hope you had a great day Wednesday, whether or not it was your day. You must be 30 sometime soon, hey?
We should catch up.
Heather and Josh
