Havana Night

The last big party of the year was hosted by the students living in the Montmillion Chateau. It was fantastic! The theme was "The Montybal State Reception - The Original Havana Night" and we were issued visas on arrival to be permitted to enter the island nation of Montybal. The theme started right on arrival with jeeps to take us from the front gate up the long driveway to the party.

People were dressed up in army fatigues with a cigar or in white suits. It is amazing how many people went out and rented or bought things to make their costume, some of these parties are almost as good as Halloween! (picture to come - our camera ran out of batteries near the start of the night so we need to get some from other people)

There was a black jack and roulette tables with fake money issued at the gate - Sarah tried her luck at blackjack and broke even, Vegas here she comes!

The theme kept going all night with soldiers taking PoWs and a skit with a military coup. There was great music, first with a live band and then with a DJ and of course free flowing champagne and other drinks all night long. Well done to the citizens of Montybal, it was an excellent party!
