"Hiking" in Spain

You just have imagine Sarah wiggling her fingers saying "Hiking" in Spain because it wasn't really the hiking trip that we originally planned. We were going to book a hiking trip through a specialist company but then decided we could do it cheaper ourselves... And then we got thinking that we should rent a car to see more of the countryside... And that is how we went from four days of long hikes to two short hikes and lots of relaxing.

Kian continues to travel like a pro. Since people see a baby on an airplane and inwardly groan, everyone avoided the seat next to us. So Kian got his own seat and found his seat belt extremely interesting.

For the hikes Kian thoroughly enjoyed riding on Doug's back and looking at everything, especially the camera when pointed at him - a sure way to get big smiles.

Kian enjoyed the tapas lunches, which were easy for us since everything is already finger food. The only problem was that Spain does not seen to have highchairs anywhere so Doug ended up with a lot of food all over him as he held Kian while eating.

And as with most of our trips we ended up buying a souvenir (a lamp this time) that was awkward and had us crossing our fingers at the gate that they would let us take it on the aircraft. Not only did they let us take it on but put it in the flight deck to keep it safe.

Yeah, the plastic beach chair kinda gives away the need for the quotation marks.
Looks like a great trip, keep them coming, I'm travelling vicariously.
