ONE!
We can't believe a year has gone by already! For Kian's first birthday we had a family dinner and spoiled him!
He got his first taste of chocolate cake, which he tentatively poked at, licked his finger, decided it was good and then dug in. Although he would have enjoyed it more if we had let hm touch the candles.
He got a good haul of trucks and toys to play with and new summer clothes to wear once the weather gets warmer. He also got a push trike (which he helped put together) but unfortunately his legs are too short to reach the ground! Until we can find somewhere that sells baby platform shoes he'll just have to enjoy being pushed around on it.
Even with all the new toys the favourite thing right now is the balloons - hopefully they last a long time.

Just goes to prove that toys at this age are designed for the parent's amusement. :-)
