Luxembourg - It is bigger then you think

Well maybe. But for sure, it is beautiful.

On Thursday night we jumped on a train with friends Joe and Caroline to head to Luxembourg to visit friends Anne and Thierry, who spend the weekend trying to convince us that Luxembourg is big.

Since Anne and Thierry had to work on Friday we went exploring on our own. First one of the many castles then a walk through fall.
On Saturday it was the guided tour of Luxembourg City, during which Anne continuously contradicted her "Luxembourg is big" thing by running into all of her friends. Then that night a cheese fondue - which we all ate too much of...

Then Sunday it was one more castle before heading back to Lille to grab our train home.

Hitting the Beach

Who says just because we have left SE Asia we can't go to the beach in October.

Saturday was a beautiful day so we headed off to Brighton on the train. Fish and chips, seagulls, ice cream, carnival rides...
