Winter is Here

It all started a couple weekends ago when we went to go ATVing and woke up to snow on the hills... we went anyways and had a snow fire hot dog roast for lunch.

Then this past weekend we got snow in town so we tried out Doug's childhood sled, which Kian loved. And since it was feeling wintery, took Kian skating for the first time. He was very unsure at first but by the end he was asking to go on the ice. Now if he could only figure out standing on the slippery surface!

Poor Asher just sleeps through all the fun.

It's Like Taking Candy From a Baby

Literally. We are eating Kian's Halloween candy for him.

Kian loved Halloween... it combined all the best things; knocking on doors, waving to people and lots of other kids around doing interesting things. Sarah would ask him if he wanted to go knock on a door and he would enthusiastically answer "Yah!". At the first house he knocked on the door and when the guy answered Kian took his hand and started to go in - we had to explain that you don't go into peoples houses on Halloween you just knock on the door and then asked if he wanted to go knock on another door... "Yah!".
