Socially Acceptable

For one day it was socially acceptable for us to go and watch rowing - Sarah loved it! It was the annual Boat Race between Oxford and Cambridge. It was crazy, there were thousands of people lining the banks of the Thames, to watch rowing! (ok some were there for the beer and crazy parties in the pubs along the river, but don't tell Sarah)
Since we were watching with Oxford alums it was good news that they won.

*We forgot our camera so these pictures aren't ours. Top one from www.theboatrace.org and the bottom one from ukgeocities.

Easter Weekend

Over Easter weekend we headed to South Wales to the Pembrokeshire Coast. Along the coast is a 186 mile hiking trail with amazing views.

We hiked some of the trail on Saturday and Sunday and managed to not get blown off the cliffs with the crazy wind.

Since we are used to hiking in BC we are used to hazards on the trail but instead of bears Wales had its own set of hazards.
