Halloween Preparations

We braved the drizzly weather and headed out to a pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins for this year. since we don't have anywhere to display a pumpkin we carved at the Bendall's house and left it there for the Trick or Treaters to admire. Then it was time to decorate the Chambers house with some pumpkins, so off we went to another pumpkin patch and carved our masterpieces.

Since the middle of September Sarah has been working on Kian's costume with help from Grandma Chambers hoping to have it finished by the time Asher came along - didn't happen! But it finally got finished (well, all but some elastic in the sleeves) and Kian seemed to enjoy seeing himself in the mirror.

Now we are all ready for Halloween Night next weekend.
And Then There Were Four

Life as a family of four has been an adjustment for all of us...
Sarah has had to get used to 3am feedings again, while Doug has had to get used to Sarah wanting to talk to someone during the 3am feedings. Yay! for friends in other time zones and Facebook, it keeps Sarah occupied and lets Doug sleep.
Kian has had to learn to share mommy and daddy, which he still hasn't quite got the hang of. But he is very interested in Asher and in particular his eyes, which are going to get poked out one day. He also wants to hold him all the time but gets tired of it after about 10seconds and pushes him off - literally. We won't ever forget Asher anywhere - when we get in the car Kian immediately points at Asher's seat and we have to reassure him that Asher is coming too and will be put in his seat in a minute.

Thank goodness for a great family who has been around tonnes heling while we all get used to being a bigger family.
