The First Few Days

Sarah and Kian had to spend a couple nights in the hospital while they both had antibiotics (the poor little guy had his arm in splint so that the cannula didn't move - which he found found annoying) so Doug came in and visited them and kept them entertained by bringing in movies and showering Kian with cuddles and giving them snacks (well Sarah anyways).

We were all at home as a family for the first night on Saturday and got to wake up to Sarah's first Mothers Day - it was Mothering Sunday in the UK. It was bright and sunny and warm so Kian went for his first outing in his new stroller and we walked into town to get some fresh air and lunch.

Recent Weekends

Our last few weekends have mostly involved visiting with friends, renovating the house, a bit of gardening when the sun came out, shopping for baby stuff and watching Sarah's belly grow bigger by the minute.

This past weekend we also decided to do one more London show before it gets incredibly difficult to get out on our own. So we headed in to see the Lion King - fantastic costumes; giraffes and elephants and hyenas and... all amazing.
