Hunting
The first egg was found by accident and Kian tried to put it back after looking at it.

Then he got the idea.

Especially after Doug showed him how to open the eggs to find stuff.
First Meals
Asher has taken to eating solids with gusto and seems to get quite upset when there is no more food. Since we are writing this late, and are just over a month into solids, Asher has tried almost everything we eat - we have gotten so used to giving him what ever we are having that Sarah made the mistake of giving him a blackberry the other day... woops, luckily it doesn't matter if pj's are stained. The mess doesn't seem to be getting smaller since these pictures were taken - he still gets food all over the floor, chair, clothes, and every bit of showing skin including inside his ears.
Two
The big TWO. Balloons, presents, cakes (or more importantly candles)...
Winter Fun
The way the weather has been it is hard to believe it is spring, but winter is now definitely over, regardless of how low down the hillsides the snow still is in the mornings! We had a great winter, cross country skiing on the weekends while the boys napped in the trailer, GT snow racing down the ski slopes after skiing was over...

Kian did his first couple of downhill runs with Doug...

We tried out the Shantz outdoor rink...

And since the weather was so cold and parks were difficult we spent a lot of time going to playgroups and playing indoors. Kian still needs to perfect his hiding...
