Camping Take 2

Our second camping trip of the year had much better weather and an air mattress to sleep on so comfort levels were up. We met up with the Gonellas at a great campground just outside Revelstoke for a very relaxing weekend. The campsite had a swimming lagoon, and Dave taught Kian how to "fish" for ground squirrels...
Hmmm, when you spend this much time just relaxing there isn't much to say!
Sweet Pea
We enjoyed the experience of the 3D/4D scan with Kian and were anxious to see Sweet Pea early as well. So we headed back to Sneak a Peek for a look. Unfortunately he was not very cooperative and we only got to see his face at the very end of the session. At one point he had all 5 apendages in front of his face. They even ran over time for us, hoping to get him to face us, so as soon as he decided to let us see his face they quickly snapped some shots and we were done. Hopefully he is more cooperative out than in.

Camping Take 1

Our first camping trip of the year was to Golden Ears Park with a bunch of friends from Vancouver on a very non-summery weekend. Kian could barely eat with a sweater, jacket and bib on and our jackets only came off a couple times all weekend. We even had a camp fire in the middle of the day!

Sarah was funny to watch try to get in and out of her sleeping bag in a small technical tent with her big belly. She decided after the first night that thermarests were not made for pregnant people, spent some of the night sleeping in the front seat of the van and vowed to get an air mattress before the next camping trip.
Unfortunately we didn't pull our camera out much and most of our pictures are of Kian walking around with beer bottles/cans - we aren't that bad of parents, he just gets the bottles/cans, empty.

It was great to catch up with friends and Kian loved chasing the older kids through the woods. Hopefully we can make the big group camping trip an annual event.
